Tuesday Training Race Series
Every Tuesday night, join area-cyclists for the Gallatin Valley Bicycle Club’s weekly training race series. The training races are a great way to give racing a try. Each week alternates between a time trial, circuit and road race. Click here for the weekly schedule. Delphine riders meet at Rockford Coffee at 5:45 PM for the road race and circuit and ride out together. We meet at Owenhouse Bike and Fitness at 5:45 PM to head out to the TT course.
Wednesday Team Rides
In 2010, we’ll meet on Wednesday evenings for our team rides. Depending on the riders present, we may split up into two groups, one being the traditional lower intensity ride (LIR). The other will be a faster paced ride (HIR) for more experienced riders and those looking to push their fitness a bit. By doing both rides on the same night, we hope to create a venue for all of us to get to know one another and potentially see a little more overlap and movement between the two groups.
Meet at Rockford, Wednesday 6:00 PM.
LIR group: Learn bike handling skills from experienced riders at a less intense pace. Team Delphine’s LIR group rides provide opportunities for mentoring. Build your bike handling skills, and your confidence while having fun!
HIR group: These rides are geared toward more experienced riders with good fitness and focus on team tactics, strategy, and bike handling skills. We often discuss recent and/or upcoming races.
